Question No. 11

I was previously a member of the Heathen Hangout a long time ago, but I only just checked in now, and my account has been deactivated; why?

Answer:
As has often been specified in stickied threads inside the HH, and as was made clear in a mass email to all HH members on Jan 18, 2005, and as has been made clear in many emails to individual members, not posting for long periods of time (or never posting) may seriously endanger HH membership of its private forums, though not of its public forums.
That is, members who do not post for long lengths of time (formally for at least 2 months, but often allowed far longer grace periods) or who have never posted at all (2 weeks after the join-up date is now the usual cut-off date), may have their access to the private forums de-activated, though will now retain access to the public forums.
To apply for re-activation, please write an email to the HH admin.
